Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator

Fathom Fish & Seafood is looking for a Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to keep our supply chain running smoothly — issuing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and managing inventory across our locations. It's a hands-on role for someone organized, detail-driven, and energized by a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities & duties

• Prepare, issue, and track all purchase orders
• Communicate directly with suppliers to confirm order details, lead times, and delivery schedules
• Plan and execute all logistics requirements to move purchases into various inventory locations
• Create, maintain, and reconcile inventory records
• Act as a point of contact for routine supplier inquiries
• Assist in maintaining the supplier database (contact info, product lines, performance data)
• Administer the supplier approval program
• Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely payment to suppliers
• Ensure all procurement documentation complies with internal policies and audit requirements

Compensation & benefits

• Salary range of $70k+
